Zhongli is a fan-favorite character, especially because of his shielding abilities as a shielder inGenshin Impact. Previously, the release of the Geo Archon was filled with many controversies; where many claim that the character isunderwhelming for an Archon, not to mention as a representation of the Chinese-inspired region, Liyue.
Luckily, HoYoverse responded to the outrage and decided to grant some buffs to Zhongli. His DMG boost is actually pretty mediocre, but what changed the game was the RES shred addition and Geo buff that came along with it.

For example, Zhongli is now fully capable of Supporting Dendro teams since the Deepwood Memories shred enemies’ Dendro resistance by 35% with a very easy requirement to meet. Zhongli Best Artifact In Genshin Impact
The most sensible route to build Zhongli is of course by making him a dedicated support. For that, players should fully focus on enhancing his Jade Shield. Therefore, triple HP Artifacts are easily the best option. As for the sets, people can use one of these team-buff Artifacts:
The Tenacity of the Millelith is always the best for Zhongli since he can easily trigger its effect and grant his team a 20% ATK buff. As for Deepwood Memories, it’s very situational as it only works if you include Zhongli in aDendro team inGenshin Impact. you may build Zhongli with that set to further shred enemies' resistance to Dendro while your Dendro DPS enjoys better artifact sets. Finally, you can also build Zhongli with Noblesse Oblige to enhance his Elemental Burst while ensuring he still gives his team the 20% ATK buff. However, it’s not as ideal as Tenacity of the Millelith since Tenacity increases his HP.
Zhongli Best Weapon In Genshin Impact
Giving Zhongli Staff of Homa makes him a capable Support that can help his team beyond just supporting and shielding them. The Polearm carries a lot of Crit DMG alongside some HP% to help Zhongli offensively and defensively. On the other hand, Favonius Lance turns Zhongli into a full Support with its passive that regenerates the team’s energy. Finally, if you’re planning to maximize Zhongli’s shield and ensure it never breaks, then build Zhongli with Black Tassel, Dialogues of the Desert Sages, or Rightful Reward. All these three weapons increase Zhongli’s HP, which is the stat his shield scales with, and luckily all three of them areF2P weapons inGenshin Impact.
