ALegend of Zeldafan has recreated Dampe’s graveyard fromOcarina of Timeusing the tools offered inFar Cry 5Arcade. Arcade mode has been used to create tons of impressive designs like a replica of McDonald’s, notableSkyrimsettlements, and Pallet Town fromPokemon Red and Blue, but thisFar Cry 5fan could have one of the most incredible levels that’s inspired byThe Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
A Reddit user has garnered over 300 upvotes on theirFar Cry 5post that shows off just how well they were able to recreate Dampe’s graveyard utilizing the tools available in the game’s level editor. Although severalThe Legend of Zeldagames have been released sinceOcarina of Timewas back in 1998, the N64 title maintains a dedicated fan base that takes their love of the game into newer ones.Ocarina of Timeisn’t the firstLegend of Zeldagame to be represented inFar Cry 5, as other fans have madelevels inspired byWind WakerandBreath of the Wild, but very few have made one-to-one replicas ofOcarina of Timelocations as thisFar Cryfan has.

Reddit user Mojoswoptops2020 recently shared several images of theirFar Cry 5Arcade version of Dampe’s graveyard fromThe Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timethat highlight the memorable place from many different angles. The set of screenshots fittingly begins with a view of the gravekeeper’s hut and the arched entrance that fans would be familiar with as a barrier between the graveyard andOcarina of Time’s Kakariko Village. With multiple images spotlighting the peculiar landscape of Dampe’s graveyard and the various graves shattered around it, some also show the Kakariko Village windmill which is home to the Phonogram Man in the background.
The trees cluttering Mojoswoptops2020’sFar Cry 5Dampe’s graveyard are strategically placed to replicate the environment, while tombstones, broken fences, flower pots, and overgrown posts encapsulate the darker aesthetic of the burial grounds. InOcarina of Time, players can acquire rupees and a heart piece by exploring Dampe’s graveyard and taking place in the grave-digging tour mini-game, but thisFar Cry 5Arcade level is simply an interpretation of how a 4K upgrade to the game may resemble. Though it’s unlikely that any of the graves can be pushed aside as easily as Link does with one tombstone inOcarina of Time, one screenshot offers a subtle nod to this moment in theN64 gamewith a grave that’s slightly behind the others.
Because of the visual improvements made to games sinceOcarina of Timewas released, theFar Cry 5Arcadeimages are clearly improved from the original Dampe’s graveyard, and it gives Nintendo fans an idea of what the location may look like on modern hardware. While Mojoswoptops2020 has been praised for the attention to detail in theirFar Cry 5Arcade iteration of Dampe’s graveyard inOcarina of Time, it’s currently unclear if they intend to make moreLegend of Zeldalevels or not.
