Over the past two weeks since release, many players have been enjoying the gameplay ofHalo Infinite. While the title has faced several issues since its launch, the consensus among most fans is that the core multiplayer is a return to form for the series. Among the reasons for the success of the game is the revamped Big Team Battle mode.
As the largest game mode inHalo Infinite,Big Team Battle features chaotic skirmishes. As a mainstay of theHalofranchise, the developers looked to continue the legacy of the game mode by including an impressive collection of new maps, along with numerous weapons and vehicles. Recently, one player had a harrowing encounter while playing on one of the Big Team Battle maps.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Kyler_Mosconi shared a video of an unusual experience from a recent game ofHalo Infinite. The clip started with the player trapped on the side of a cliff. With seemingly every option spent, the player stood on the tiny ledge gazing down at the hazy valley hundreds of feet below. It seemed like their fate was doom, or so they thought.
Just as it seemed like all hope was lost for the Spartan, they noticed aWasp taking off on a platformnearby. In a desperate attempt to signal the pilot, they began to spray bullets in the direction of the UNSC aircraft. Suddenly, the vehicle stopped and turned back towards the player. The pilot of the Wasp then proceeded to fly over to the stranded player, allowing them to jump on top of the aircraft. After doing this, the Wasp ferried the Spartan back to safety, proving that some players really do care about their squadmates.
This wholesome interaction between Spartans captured on video by Kyler_Mosconi caught the attention of manymembers of theHalo Infinitecommunityon Reddit. With over 1,300 views in only a few hours, many were shocked by this touching act of kindness. In addition, some gamers questioned how the player ended up in the unfortunate situation, while others wondered how long they had been waiting on the ledge before help arrived.
This isn’t the only act of kindness recorded on the battlefields ofHalo Infinite. Recently, oneplayer received help finishing a Battle Pass challengefrom a fellow Spartan during a game of Oddball. While video games often seem full of toxic players, clips like the one recorded by Kyler_Mosconi serve as a reminder that compassionate players that care about each other still exist. As more people check out the game in the time leading up to the campaign release on December 8, it will be interesting to see what other charitable acts are shared.
