A PC port forHorizon Forbidden Westis expected to launch sometime in Q1/Q2 2024. It has been confirmed that the expansion Burning Shores will be included in the PC port. Over the last year, there have been rumors circulating the internet aboutan MMO set in theHorizonfranchise, and many jobs listings have popped up over the year regarding an Online Project being developed at Guerrilla Games. Whether this is the rumored MMO project is uncertain, but it does seem that aHorizonMMO has essentially been confirmed, as there is now a codename (written in the font used for theHorizonfranchise) for this project that has surfaced on the internet. The project is called “Project Skyline”, and it seems that Sony is collaborating with MMO developer NCSOFT on this project, with the developer reportedly taking the reins.
NCSOFT is a South Korean game developer notable for developingpopular MMO titles and franchisessuch asLineage,Guild Wars, andAion. With development seemingly underway, fans of theHorizonfranchise could see new information arise, or potentially a teaser trailer of some sort. With the success of NCSOFT’s titles, it seems sure that theHorizonMMO is in good hands and that fans are in for a treat when the game releases.
Horizon 3 Is In Development
