Summary

AValheimplayer has shown off screenshots of their complete playthrough bases, including one in each biome minus the Ocean and Swamp. The different biomes ofValheimprovide not just a change to the landscape but also the resources and mobs in the area, and one player decided to make unique bases in most of them.

There are currentlysixValheimbiomesbeyond the ocean, with players starting in the Meadows and concluding in the Mistlands. As gamers progress through these areas, they will acquire progressively more useful materials to aid in building and crafting. While the Meadows lacks necessary things like Iron and Copper, the Black Forest has a healthy supply of both. Beyond the six biomes, the Ashlands have been unveiled and will soon be added to the game. As the game is continuously updated with more content, players are already progressing through each location and their bosses. One gamer has shared the bases that they made along the way to finishing their first playthrough.

Reddit user Formaldehydeislyf recently shared nine images from their firstValheimplaythrough, highlighting impressive bases in different biomes.TheValheimMeadowshideout is a stone castle with multiple towers, a wooden roof, and a wall extending around it. A portion of this base is separated from the central castle, and it includes three wooden buildings with a farm that are all protected by the outer wall. The base in the Mountain biome has stairs that go all the way up the mountain where the gamer has made a traditional stone building that connects to a square and round tower with a short wall between the three structures. The Plains structure is a six-pointed castle wall with towers at each point and an open side that faces the ocean, allowing for an easy escape with a boat.

Despite most of their bases being large monuments, the player has labeled the Black Forest one as a humble lodge. Their Mistlands space is also a smaller one, and it extends up one of the hills like the Mountain base. The gamer also shared a screenshot of a large dock in the Meadows biome connecting their other bases through the water access point.

How Were These Bases Made?

These structures were all made with the help of Formaldehydeislyf’s friends, and they split the labor between each other to maximize efficiency. They decided to make most locations large fortresses after a Troll raid resulted in one of their original bases being destroyed. According to the Reddit user, the Stone required for the builds was largely acquired from the Monoliths intheValheimPlains biome.

While the Ashlands biome is expected to be added soon, it’s unclear when the next biome will drop. BecauseIron Gate continues to updateValheimwith new biomes and materials, Formaldehydeislyf may expand on the work that they shared. Given that more materials often result in new build options, a future patch could open the door to a base made of entirely new elements.
