Valheimwas first released in early access on PC in 2021 and has since expanded its player base by jumping to Xbox Game Pass. Reddit user TheFriendlyGamr recently shared a clip of their impressiveValheimbuild that extends from the peak of a mountain into the sky by using the floating boulders above as stepping stones. The video begins by showing the sheer scale of the sky base with a zoomed-out view, entering slow motion in each shot to highlight each detail. A large spiral staircase extends from the top of theValheimmountain biometo attach to the fortified entrance of TheFriendlyGamr’s headquarters which has windmills on a platform to the side.
According to TheFriendlyGamr, a mod was used to perfect the floating boulders in the sky which were size adjusted, whileValheimconsole commandslike Infinity Hammer, World Edit, and Sever Devcommands also played a role. Emphasizing the height of theirValheimsky base, TheFriendlyGamr has measured it to be 96 meters tall, with four towers connected to a keep with a bridge. Going even further than showcasing their incredibleValheimcreation, the clip then includes time-lapse footage of how everything was pieced together, with key materials like stone, wood, and leather on display for anyone trying to replicate it.
Unlike someValheimHammer modebuilds that players have shared recently, the use of console commands and mods allowed TheFriendlyGamr to explore with similar freedom. Because theValheimsky base floats high above the Mountain biome, threats like wolves, drakes, and Fenrings are completely avoidable.
