However, a number of creators have also gotten disturbing gifts from viewers, and General Sam happened to be one of them. In a recent Twitch stream, he did an unboxing of various fan mail, which went relatively well at first, until he opened a package that had a strong smell in it. After closer inspection, he discovered that someone had sent him an embalmed dead baby pig sealed in a vacuum bag. After letting out several expletives, General Sam reminded his viewers not to gift him a dead animal like that.

Following the unboxing stream, General Sam tweeted a video of the dead pig, asking his followers what he’ll do with it. He said in the replies that he might put it in a big jar, probably so he could display it at home. However, one fan warned him not to open the bag as the smell would most likely be toxic when inhaled. Meanwhile, other fans were just as horrified by the gift as General Sam was when he first saw it in the package. Fortunately, the streamer wasn’t banned from the platform for showing a dead animal on stream, unlike Polish streamer Sideneuke, who gotbanned on Twitch for accidentally hitting a dog with her car.

Just like General Sam, personalities like streamer Erobb221 and YouTuber Jacksepticeye, among others, have received equally gross gifts in the form of human or animal waste from anonymous senders. The PO boxes are mostly used for gifts, but it’s also clear that pranksters often take advantage of them by sending out potentially hazardous packages. It could even be considered in the same level asswatting Twitch streamersfor fun because of how dangerous the prank could be for the recipient.

Fortunately, General Sam and other creators like him weren’t harmed after receiving disturbing gifts such as a dead pig. But, just as General Sam said, this shouldn’t be an excuse for diehard fans to do something similar to get a reaction out of their favorite creator. This also includesdoxxing Twitch streamersand YouTube content creators.
