Now, the streamer has found himself going viral for something completely unrelated to his gaming content.
Asmongold’s time on Twitch has seen the streamer make a major impact on not only his community, but further into the gaming industry. Alongside his previously-mentioned contributions toFinal Fantasy 14’s popularity, the streamer has made apublic stance against gambling in video games, particularly loot boxes. Asmongold even became Twitch’s top streamer in terms of watch time earlier this year during his coverage of the infamous Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial. Now, a recent post has seen Asmongold going viral on Twitter for cleaning his streaming room.

A tweet from Asmongold on Tuesday showed off the immaculate cleaning job the streamer had done for his streaming room with a before-and-after shot. The before shot shows several empty cases of Pepsi and Dr. Pepper along with discarded food containers and product packaging. The finished version shows a cleaned surface for both his couch and the armchair in his room. The Tweet quickly went viral withthe top Twitch streamer’s cleaned setup quickly amassing over 75,000 likes on Twitter.
Asmongold’s cleaned room was also quickly noticed by fellow content creators, complimenting the streamer on his cleaning job. Twitch VTuber Ironmouse complimented the cleaned streaming room while streamer NMP noticed a sword in the corner of the room bearing resemblance toWorld of Warcraft’s Frostmourne. Even the official Razer Twitter account came to compliment Asmongold on a job well done, notably with Asmongold showing off a Razer gaming chair in both photos.
Asmongold maintains his status as one of Twitch’s top talents despite an exodus of streamers to Twitch’s biggest rival, YouTube, over the past year. Asmongold has previously beenheavily critical of YouTube Gaming’s Live section, echoing Ludwig’s sentiments that the service’s layout is detrimental to the “discoverability” of new streamers. The streamer has been very vocal with his opinions throughout his career, from staying with Twitch to his refusal to play games likeGenshin Impact.A cleaner streaming room will look to serve Asmongold well as he continues his success on Twitch.
