Despite some serious performance issues, it seems thatStar Wars Jedi: Survivoris living up to the expectations of fans, with EA recently reporting that the game was doing quite well. In fact, it topped sales chat in some regions beforeHogwarts Legacy’s sales (once again) overtook it. No doubt, part of its success is the fact that it expands onStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, all without weakeningCal Kestis' Jedi abilities, and builds on those successes in every way possible.

There’s even one scene inStar Wars Jedi: Survivorthat makes up for a funny mistake withFallen Order. It should be noted that it’s uncertain if it was intentional or purely coincidence, and it can’t be certain that developers even noticed the discrepancy because it is so small. Players eventually did notice asmall mistake on theStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Ordercover art in relation to Greez, andStar Wars Jedi: Survivordoesn’t just fix that—it sort of overcompensates for it.

Star Wars Jedi: Greez’s Funny Mistake with Blasters

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s cover art depicts severalmembers of the Mantis Crew, as well as the Inquisitors players will face. Greez is there too, with a blaster, but throughout the entirety of the game, Greez never once wields one. Greez’s history doesn’t really suggest he ever needs one either, but it would make some sense given his on-and-off relationship with a couple of crime syndicates. Everyone who did originally discover this inconsistency took it in good stride, some joking he should have had a salt shaker on the cover given his pension for food and a few snide comments (all in good nature of course).

This doesn’t happen withStar Wars Jedi: Survivorsince Cal is shown alone on the box art, but the game does correct this mistake a little bit. Without delving into spoiler territory, Greez will exit the Mantis at one point with not one, not two, not three, but four blasters in hand(s). Given Greez’s race has four hands and that fact is alluded to plenty, it makes sense to see him have a blaster in each one, but at the same time, Greez puts himself in danger as much as others with this many blasters. It’s clear that Greez doesn’t have a lot of combat expertise, at least not to be firing four blasters all at once.

Either way, it’s a heartwarming scene that doubles as a funny overcorrection of a small issue withStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.Greez plays an important role in the Mantis Family, truly serving as the glue that connects Cere, Cal, and Merrin, and this scene also speaks to that fact.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
