Polish gaming website XGP reported on Monday morning that the Xbox Store page forResident Evil Villagehad quietly seen the Xbox Game Pass tag attached to the game with no official announcement from Xbox or Capcom. The tag has since been removed, and it is unclear whether the addition was an error or a sign ofwhat’s to come forResident Evil Village, but it has led many fans to speculate that the popular survival horror game may arrive to Game Pass around its first anniversary in May.
The mistake caught by XGP would not be the first time in recent months the website has caught Microsoft adding the Xbox Game Pass label to a game too early.
