Although technically blind, a Garrador sees through noises, like a bat. It’s a deadly creature that charges at any noise source without a second thought. When one’s on the loose, no one is safe.
In theResident Evil 4remake, players first come across a Garrador in the Castle whenLeon must fight one off in the Dungeon. But that’s not their only encounter; later in Chapter 10, Leon should kill not one but two Garradors in a small room filled with Zealots.

How to Kill the Double Garrador in Chapter 10
To defeat the twin Garradors quickly, distract them by shooting the bells in the corners and finish them off by hitting the Plagas on their backs. Even better, open up their Plagas and follow up with a flash grenade to instakill both.
TheRE4Garradors’ weak point is on their back, where their parasite lives. Shooting this spot exposes their Plagas, which can be destroyed with flashbangs, knives, explosives, or normal gunshots.

Since the twin Garradors are blind, killing them with explosive bolts is best. These arrows make no noise, leaving the monsters unable to locate Leon.
A foolproof way to find the Garradors’ weak spot is by usingthe Biosensor Scope. This sight reveals any creature’s parasite with a glowing red mark.
Tips for Beating the Twin Garradors Faster
The double Garrador may not be as tough as Regeneradors, but they’re deadly enough to cut Leon in half. A wise player would keep the following instructions in mind before facing them.
Distract the Garradors with the Bells
There are two bells in the right flank of the Castle, where the double Garrador attack Leon.Shoot these bells to make a loud noise. By doing so, the monsters will charge at the bell, exposing their back to Leon for a quick kill shot.
Bolts can’t ring the bell. It must be a gunshot.
Kill Their Plagas with a Flash Grenade
Once a Garrador’s Plagas is exposed, throw a flashbang at it for an instakill. There’s already a flash grenade on the table near the entrance. Pick that up—or craft some in the inventory—to prepare for the fight.
Flashbangs only kill Garradors when their parasite is out. Throw one at them when the tentacles on their backs are visible.
Let the Garradors Kill the Zealots
An irritated Garrador attacks anything in its way, even the Zealots. Upon entering the room, set both monsters free and watch them slice enemies into pieces whenever they make a noise.
TheResident Evil 4remake is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
