Players seeking out as many Pokemon as possible inThe Teal Maskshould take it upon themselves to visit the biology professor from Uva/Naranja Academy,Mr. Jacq. He’ll be hanging outnear a tree just next to the east side of the bridge leading into Mossui Town, heading towards Reveler’s Road. If he’s not there, make some progress in the main story and then return.

Where to Find Jacq in The Teal Mask

The professor’s location can be seen on the map above (and in the video guide below). Once players have a chat with him, he will give them a mysteriousegg. If players don’t have room in their party for an extra Pokemon, make sure to grab the egg from the storage box and put it on the team. Pokemon eggs can only hatch if players keep them in their party and travel a long distance.

It’s worth noting that the Pokemon egg can still hatch even if players are traveling the regionatop Miraidon or Koraidon. The egg should only hatch in a few minutes if moving around this way.

What’s Inside of Jacq’s Egg?

As forwhat’s inside Professor Jacq’s egg, it’s actually a random toss-up between one of the three starter Pokemon from the Sinnoh region: theFire-typeChimchar, the Grass-typeTurtwig, and the Water-typePiplup. Players will only have one chance to get these Pokemon inThe Teal Mask, as there are no other eggs out there to find, and these Pokemon will not spawn in the wild.
