Quick Links
Pokemon Scarlet & Violetis hosting a new 7-Star Tera Raid event, featuring Swampert with the Mightiest Mark. This Swampert will only be available for a limited time and has the Poison Tera-type.
Unlike some of the other raids, players will be able to find these much more easily considering they have a unique glow around their map icon. Not to forget, the unique black crystals are also associated with these events. Additionally, it is crucial to note that this event will be taking place strictly in Paldea, so players don’t need to venture into Kitakami and Blueberry Academy or even get the two DLCs to take part in the event.

How To Unlock 7-Star Tera Raid
Unlocking 7-Star Tera Raids inPokemon Scarlet & Violetis a tedious process, as players will need to meet a few requirements. Firstly, it is mandatory to finish the game as well as the Academy Ace Tournament.
Once that’s done, players will be able to takepart in 5-star Tera Raids. After doing about 10 of those, 6-Star Tera Raids will be unlocked via Professor Jacq and players will also be able to take part in 7-Star Tera Raids along the way.

Best Weakness For Unrivaled Swampert
Swampert’s regular weaknesses are Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, and Steel-type moves; however, the Swampert for this event is a Poison-Tera type, so these weaknesses don’t apply to it.
Instead, theweaknesses switch to Ground andPsychic-type. This makes the battle incredibly difficult, considering that using a Ground-type is not an option at all, as Swampert’s Water-type moves would obliterate Ground Pokemon with ease. Thus, the onus is onPsychic-type movesto lead the charge for this Tera raid. When it comes to Swampert’s offensive capabilities, Poison-type gets added to Water and Ground for the same-type attack bonus, so players need to be wary of that.

Best Counters For Unrivaled Swampert
Two of the best counters for Swampert are Slowbro and Vaporeon. Players can easily solo this fight using these two Pokemon, which means that they don’t need to depend on other teammates at all to take down Swampert.
Vaporeon
For Vaporeon, the most important aspect will be having theability Water Absorb and, of course, Psychic Tera(in fact, players might not even be required to terrastalize). This not only nullifies Swampert’s deadlyWater-type movesbut also gives a health boost which can be an absolute game-changer. Apart from that, the strategy is quite simple.
All players need to do is useCalm Mindto boost their Special Attack and Special Defense, and then useStored Powerto wreck Swampert. Players can also haveAcid Armorto boost their defensive stats. The icing on the cake will be a Shell Bell. This is not a one-hit build, but players should be able to get Swampert down within two to three hits with enough Calm Mind stacks.

Slowbro
Slowbro is an equally deadly opponent for Swampert too, with yet another combination ofStored Power and Calm Mindbeing quite effective. However, there are a few good alternatives here, as players can also useNasty Plotinstead of Calm Mind and opt for something likeAmnesiaorIron Defenseto boost defense.
As far as the healing is concerned, players can useSlack Offto have something for critical situations. In the end, Stored Power is going to be the main offensive move once again. The ability Oblivious can be quite useful here, but it is not a hard requirement. Some other good alternatives are Espathra, Fargiraf, andHisuian Braviary.
Can You Get Shiny Mighty Swampert?
No, Mighty Swampert cannot be shiny during this eventsince 7-star Tera Raids are shiny-locked. If players want to get a shiny Swampert, they can do so via the Indigo Disk DLC, as its first form,Mudkip, appears in the Coastal Biomein the Terrarium region. Precisely, players will need to head to the Torchlit Biome in the southern part of the Coastal Biome.
