Pokemon Scarlet and Violetare 100 days from release, with the companies involved recently showing off a new trailer that highlighted the Tera types and more. It doesn’t seem Game Freak or The Pokemon Company are feeling too particularly giving in terms of this gen, but it stands to reason that as the release nears, more and more info will come out. Still, in the meantime, many have turned to the variousrumors and leaks aboutPokemon Scarlet and Violetout there.

Some have proven true, some have come from reliable sources, and just as many have come from bad sources and have been proven false.Pokemon Scarlet and Violetfans should take all unofficial information with a grain of salt, regardless of a source’s track record. Now, a leaker known as Poryleeks claims to have new details on the Elite Four, a new Ghost-type Pokemon, and more, and it all sounds interesting (but cannot be proven true or false, so to be taken with a grain of salt).

Poryleeks reveals there’s a Ground-type member of the Elite Four, after previously revealing there would be a Dragon-type and a Flying-type member. What caught many eyes about this line-up, however, is how each member would be weak to Ice-type, if this proves legit. This would theoretically make three of the four Elite Pokemon trainers as an easy walk-through with the right setup, but it’s worth noting that they are likely to featurePokemon with powerful Tera typesas well, so it may not be that easy.

Poryleeks also reveals there will be a new Ghost Pokemon but further confirmed its design would be based on a coin. This could be something like a Steel-Ghost type based on gold, akin to the region’s history of piracy, and it would be interesting to see if the final form was like a possessed chest full of gold and coins. That is, of course, just speculation on a rumor right now. He also reveals that the legendary quartet of the region is not based on Dragon or Fairy types and that there are possibly no racing mini-games inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, potentially dismissing a different rumor sinceplayers can ride Koraidon and Miraidon.

There’s no way to know how much of this proves legit until Game Freak officially announces any of this. Hopefully, the floodgates on this information open up soon enough, and anotherPokemon Scarlet and Violettrailerproves more giving.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violetrelease on November 18 on Nintendo Switch.
