Summary
APokemonfan has designed Eeveelutions for every type not currently represented in the games. Eevee has been a fan-favorite sincePokemonGen 1, given that it can evolve to be many different types. However, some types are still missing today.
Eevee was introduced inPokemon Red and Blueand has remained a focus for The Pokemon Company. While other Pokemon haven’t been introduced in the latest games, Eevee periodically gets new evolutions. Among the most recent Eeveelutions are Sylveon fromPokemon X and Y, and Glaceon and Leafeon fromDiamond and Pearl. BecauseSword and ShieldandPokemon Scarlet and Violetneglected new Eeveelutions, some gamers have dedicated fan art to new Eevee concepts. One artist has made unique fan art for each type that Eevee can’t currently evolve into.

Reddit user Smilingfishfood recently shared 11 images of their concept of Eeveelutions for the missingPokemontypes. The art includes Bug, Dragon, Fighting, Flying, Ghost, Ground, Metal, Normal, Poison, and Rock types. These Pokemon are named Elytreon, Tyranneon, Shoteon, Aereon, Spectreon, Adobeon, Mechaneon, Alebreon, Polluteon, and Buncleon, respectively. A final image shows that Alebreon comes in different colors depending on different types. It’s unclear if these types would be chosen by the player or if it would be based on where the Pokemon evolves, like the time of day forGen 2PokemonEeveelutions Espeon and Umbreon.
What Would the Missing Eeveelutions Look Like?
Unlike existing Bug-type Eeveelution concepts, Elytreon looks like an armored beetle or part of the Spinarak family. Buncleon and Adobeon look like they could be introduced together, given that they both share similar looks and typing. Mechaneon and Tyranneon resemble small versions ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Legendary Pokemon, while Polluteon and Spectreon look like they would fit intoSun and Moon, andBlack and White, respectively. Aereon and Alebreon appear to represent two different cultures, one having Egyptian motifs and the other sharing similarities to Alebrijes from Mexico. Shoteon may stand out the most as it has a red star on its forehead but otherwise doesn’t reflect its typing much.
Because it’s beena while since The Pokemon Company introduced a new Eeveelution, a new one may be coming in the next few games. Given that there are still several types that Eevee doesn’t evolve into, one of these depictions could share similarities with a future Pokemon. Of all the elements represented in the fan art, Normal may be the least likely for a future Eeveelution given that Eevee is already Normal-type.
