Recent evidence suggests thatPersona 3 Reloadcould be following other AAA games and will be priced at $70 at launch. Originally announced during the Xbox Games Showcase,Persona 3 Reloadis a completeoverhaul of the originalPersona 3from 2006, adding a number of quality of life features that make it akin to modern RPGs like Atlus' ownPersona 5. That being said, this remake is explicitly based on the 2006 original without too many influences from the re-releases that came after likePersona 3 PortableandFES.

ThePersona 3remake will be omitting the added content likePortable’s female protagonist Kotone Shiomior The Answer playable segment from theFES. Despite fans being excited about the remake, they have also made their gripes known about how the remake isn’t going to be including everything that the past re-releases have added, withReloadfeeling less like a “definitive” version of the game. Fan expectations seem to be dampened a bit more with the possible reveal of its price tag on release.
