7The Straw Hats vs Kizaru and Pacifista

The Straw Hats arrived at Sabaody Archipelago with high hopes. They believed that they were ready to step into the New World and continue their adventure. However, they were proven horribly wrong. The Straw Hats wereconfronted by Admiral Kizaruand the Pacifista.

The Straw Hats never stood a chance against Kizaru especially considering that none of them knew how to use Haki. They were easily overwhelmed by the Marines, who landed a crushing defeat on them. The Straw Hats would have been killed by Kizaru and co. if not for Silvers Rayleigh’s intervention. In addition to Rayleigh, the Straw Hats were saved by Bartholomew Kuma, who sent all of them to different islands with the help of his Nikyu Nikyu no Mi.

This backfired massively as Big Mom did not even have to fight back. She simply blocked Luffy’s attack with her arms, and it caused Luffy to lose his energy rapidly, resulting in him losing his Gear Fourth form as well. It highlighted the massive difference in power between a Supernova and a Yonko.

5Sanji vs Doflamingo

Doflamingo was the main antagonistof the Dressrosa arc. Half of the Straw Hats had to leave Dressrosa with Sanji and the crew had captured Giolla. This drew Doflamingo’s attention to the ship, and he made his way towards the ship to kill them. Luckily, Sanji was there to save them.

Sanji put up a good fight against the Shichibukai, but the latter’s Ito Ito no Mi made things extremely difficult for Sanji. The fight ended in a loss for Sanji, and he was left with some serious injuries. Doflamingo could have easily killed them, but Trafalgar Law managed to intercept him. This allowed the Straw Hats to escape without any problems.

4Zoro vs Mihawk

From the moment he met Luffy, Zoro made it very clear that he wanted to claimthe title of “Strongest Swordsman in World”. Currently, the title belongs to Dracule Mihawk, and Zoro got an opportunity to test his skill during the Baratie arc. Mihawk came to East Blue while chasing Don Krieg and this proved to be a chance for Zoro to show his mettle.

Zoro was furious and decided to attack, but Mihawk managed to stop all three of his swords with the dagger. Zoro gave it one more shot, and this time Mihawk used Yoru out of respect. The clash resulted in two of Zoro’s swords being broken. Finally, Zoro gave up and Mihawk cut him across the chest, leaving him in immense pain.

3Luffy vs Crocodile

Crocodile is easily one ofthe best villains in the series. He planned to destroy the Kingdom of Alabasta and find the information pertaining to one of the Ancient Weapons. Crocodile is among the few villains who have managed to defeat Luffy, too.

Crocodile and Luffy fought three times in total and in the first two fights, Luffy was completely outclassed by the villain. He was left in an awful condition, and it was only due to Robin’s help that Luffy managed to survive and face Crocodile for the third time.

2Luffy vs Kaido

The Straw Hats arrived in Wano with the aim to take down Kaido, one of the Yonko. It was obvious that it was not going to be an easy job for Luffy and co., and Kaido showed exactly why. When Kaido attacked the ruins of Oden Castle, Luffy became enraged and thought that his crew members were dead.

In his fury, Luffy decided to confront Kaido and fight the Yonko head-on. This proved to be a foolish decision, as Kaido defeated Luffy quite easily. The sole reason why Luffy even managed to land a few hits on Kaido was due to the fact that the latter was drunk.

1Usopp vs Trebol

Usopp faced a huge task in defeating Sugar and Trebol at Dressrosa. He had to take out Sugar in order to free the people who were trapped as toys. Usopp could have defeated Sugar on his own rather easily, but Trebol’s presence made the job extremely difficult.

Usopp tried to take him down, but Trebol’s strength was too much for him to handle. The fight ended in Usopp being totally defeated.
