Two-Face, aBatmanvillain, a man literally divided by the dichotomy of good and evil, which itself has been an integral part of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for as long as anyone can remember. TheWWE Evildocuseries takes a long look at the “dark side” of WWE’s history, exploring the villainous origins and evil tendencies of some of the company’s most prolific superstars.
As part of the deal withPeacockhaving the exclusive rights to stream the sports entertainment juggernaut’s productions, the platform has also acquired several pieces of WWE Original programming that peel back the curtain and give viewers a chance to delve deep into WWE’s lore and history. This eight-episode docuseries,WWE Evil, comes as the very first original product of the long-ago billion-dollar arrangement made between WWE and the Peacock streaming service, with the very first episode centered around WCW’sinfamous “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, slated for March 24 on Peacock.

However, there are special airings of someWWE Evilepisodes set to air on the USA Network as part of its WrestleMania Week, beginning with the episode focused on the rise of the current WWE Universal Champion,the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns, immediately afterWWE Rawon May 28 at 11 pm, ET. The next episode to be featured on USA takes a look at the “Brothers of Destruction,” i.e. the Hall of Fame duo of The Undertaker and Kane, airing right afterWWE NXT 2.0on May 29 at 10 pm, ET. The docuseries is created, produced and narrated by WWE legend John Cena, ironically one of the most controversially successful “heroic” characters in WWE history, but nonetheless an expert on WWE’s dark side given the innumerable battles he has had with various WWE heels over his tenured career, from WWE Hall of Famer Edge to The Miz to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and many more.
All eight episodes of the docuseries are slated to drop onto Peacock’s streaming platform on March 24. However, WWE is offering up the episodes centered around Reigns, Undertaker and Kane during the week of WrestleMania 38 as a way to"court" WWE fans. The streamer is hoping to encourage those who haven’t made the move over to the streaming service yet.
WWE’s behind-the-scenes documentaries have always been fascinating to watch andWWE Evilsounds no less intriguing, serving as a potentially riveting exposé delving into the inner psyches of some of the company’smost notable heels, exploring their machinations seen on the air as well as their real-life motivations for the things they say and do.
