Two tweets fromMass Effect’sofficial twitter account tells fans to expect the next majorMass Effect: Andromedareveal on November 7th, better know as N-7 day to fans.

Mass Effect: Andromedais a game that has had a lot of mystery and speculation surrounding it ever since it was announced as the indirect sequel to the originalMass Effectseries. Details on the game’s story have been fairly scant, but a few pieces of information have been revealed that the game will beunconnected to the endings ofMass Effect 3and that it will focus on humans trying to survive in the far offAndromeda galaxy where they will be treated as an alien presence.

The concept of humans being treated as an alien presence seems to have been confirmed when, earlier today, BioWare released three minutes ofpre-alpha gameplay footagewhich showcased the main character going through a world filled with totally alien technology. Despite only being three minutes of footage, it was enough to get plenty of gamers excited aboutMass Effect: Andromeda’s upcoming release.

Additionally, two tweets from the officialMass EffectTwitter have indicated when fans can expect to learn more details aboutMass Effect: Andromeda. Shortly after the pre-alpha footage debuted, theMass EffectTwitter account posted, “[On] N7-Day we’ll show a new trailer and officially open the doors to the next chapter of theMass Effectuniverse.” N-7 day, or November 7th, is viewed asMass Effectday by fans of the game, and seems a fitting date for Bioware to make their next big reveal.

When fans barragedMass Effect’sTwitter account with questions about what would be revealed on N-7 day, the account posted the following tweet for them to “expect a deep level of customization!” So while the tweets don’t give fans anything concrete to look forward to, it seems that on N-7 day, players will be getting a look at a deeper level of character customization than has existed in the previous games.

So, it appears thatMass Effect: Andromedawill be quite different from the previousMass Effectgames. BioWare has already admitted that they will be moving away from theparagon/renegade morality systemin the new game, as well as giving players aslick new jetpackto play around with. As for other details about the game though, it looks like fans will just have to wait until November 7th.  Until then, fans can look forward to theMass Effectnovels that act as a story bridgebetween the the end ofMass Effect 3and the beginning ofMass Effect Andromeda.

Mass Effect: Andromedais set to release sometime in Q1 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
