OneFallout 4and film fan uses assets from the most recent entry in Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG series to recreate the trailer for action flickJason Bourne.
Thanks to YouTuber Matt “UpIsNotJump” Hamlin, the short ad spot for the forthcomingJason Bournemovie starring Matt Damon shown during this year’sSuper Bowlnow has a “remake” trailer of sorts with dialogue, setting, and characters for the film having been redone in Bethesda’sFallout 4. Obviously, withFallout 4being set far into the future in a post-apocalyptic setting and the newJason Bournehaving a more contemporary timeline, the final product is not perfectly shot-for-shot, but its pacing and edits are on point.
While theFallout 4remake trailer isn’t completely accurate, considering the fact that theJason Bournetrailer debuted just a few days ago, UpIsNotJump should be applauded simply for the quick turnaround on his effort. Not to mention, even though Tommy Lee Jones' character is only cut to briefly, there’s no mistaking him in the fan-made trailer, as the likeness that the YouTuber made for the actor using the open world title’scharacter creation systemis almost identical.
Since the plot for the fifth installment in theJason Bournefranchise was not explored in the trailer shown earlier this week, fans who may have not seen the original promo cut shouldn’t expect any overt details about the narrative to be mentioned. Really, UpIsNotJump only had action scenes on which to rely, which worked relatively well forFallout 4’s style. Those who wish to view the remake trailer can watch it in the video below.

This isn’t the first time that a video game’s properties have been used to recreate a highly anticipated movie’s trailer. As it happens, a couple of weeks ago, the theatrical trailer for Zack Snyder’sBatman v Supermangot aGrand Theft Auto 5remakefrom the YouTuber known as Merfish.
We’ve known for quite some time thatFallout 4fans are a creative bunch, and UpIsNotJump’s remake trailer is yet another example of their ability to use the game as inspiration for interesting creations. The YouTuber’s production now stands alongside a pantheon of fan-made goodies, from physical constructions like thepipe bolt action pistol replicato intangible ones such as the catchy rockabilly anthem written about the game from the artist Miracle of Sound entitled “Going Nuclear”.
As many gamers are aware,Fallout 4is flush with mods, and in order to make the above trailer, UpIsNotJump undoubtedly had to rely on a bevy of different ones so as to ensure the clip came to fruition. Bearing that in mind, once Bethesda releases theofficial Garden of Eden Creation Kit mod toolsfor the game, fans are likely to flood the Internet with even moreFallout 4in the near future.
Fallout 4is out now and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, whileJason Bourne’s theatrical release is July 24, 2025.
