Although players have very little control over other party members, there are plenty ofweapons for CliveinFinal Fantasy 16. Most of these are unlocked via side quests or the main story, but some have been added to the game as DLC. The Curtana is one such weapon.

How to Get the Curtana in Final Fantasy 16

The Curtana comes bundled with the expansion pass and was added to the game as part ofFinal Fantasy 16’s 1.31 update. Like other DLC items, players will first need to redeem the weapon before they can actually use it, though this process is thankfully quite simple. To get the Curtana, players shouldnavigate to the System menuand make their way tothe Redeemable Items tab. From there, they’ll just need tohighlight the Curtanaand thenpress the X buttonin order to claim it. While they’re here, they’ll also want to claim the Torn from the Heavens and Through the Maelstrom Orchestration Rolls, both of which come bundled with the DLC.

Curtana Stats in Final Fantasy 16

With just160 Attackand160 Staggerstats, the Curtana is a pretty lackluster weapon when compared to some ofthe best swords inFinal Fantasy 16. However, this isn’t really a problem, as those hoping to use the Curtana can do so without having to settle for its underwhelming stats by using it as a skin rather than as Clive’s main weapon. The process for doing so is once again incredibly simple, so those who’ve never played around in the Appearance menu needn’t worry too much about figuring it out.

How to Use the Curtana as a Skin in Fantasy 16

To use the Curtana as a skin, players should pay a visit tothe Arete Stoneat the hideaway and then navigate to theAppearancemenu. Once there, they’ll want to use the shoulder buttons to navigate to theWeapontab and then find the Curtana near the bottom of the list. If they thenhighlight the Curtana and press the X button, Clive’s sword will take on the appearance of the Warrior of Light’s iconic blade even when he has a more powerful weapon equipped. While they’re at it, may also want tochange the appearance of Clive and some of the other party membersvia the Armor tab.
