During the Gintama Ato no Matsuri event, it was announced that the3-Nen Z-Gumi Ginpachi-Senseinovel is slated to get an anime adaptation of its own. The project is based on Tomohito Ōsaki’s novel. The novel takes place at Gintama High School, and it follows Ginpachi Sakata, who is the teacher despite not having the right qualifications.
The first novel was released in 2006, and the latest edition was released byShueishain 2018. There are more than five novels, and almost all of them will be used in the anime adaptation. The content from the novel was used by the original anime at the end of its episodes.
