A talentedGenshin Impactartist took some of the game’s most popular characters and turned them into Pokemon. The world of Teyvat consists of numerous different characters, all of whom have different personalities and unique backstories.
Players can play through each of these stories during countless quests that take them across all four of the currently available regions.Genshin Impactfans are often inspired by these character designs, and they try to replicate and implement them in different games and environments.

A Redditor by the name JhayAlejo has shared a set of impressive concepts that turn some of the most popular characters from the roster into different Pokemon. The artist is known in the community for creating and sharingsimilarGenshin Impactprojectsthat often get tons of attention. This post has reached over 4.7k upvotes onGenshin Impact’s official subreddit with many fans claiming that they would prefer these creations over some of Game Freak’s recent Pokemon designs. The first concept features a two-stage evolution named Purrism and Zephidron which represent the Sumeru scholar known as Faruzan. The artist has managed to perfectly implement Faruzan’s overall design and personality in this concept.
While over 170 comments praise all the 14 concepts, a lot of fans claim that the one named Wanderheart is by far their favorite. According to the post, Wanderheart can evolve from a much smaller Pokemon named Abandoll. The two seem to represent Wanderer’s character development from being a villain to the hero that saved the Traveler and Paimon in Sumeru’s main storyline. Wanderheart has an additional form that is inspired by the Shouki no Kami which is one ofGenshin Impact’s most iconic Weekly Bossesthat arrived back in update 3.2.
This domain features one of the former Fatui Harbingers, who was known by the names Scaramouche and The Balladeer, that ended up joining the playable roster in the following update. The concept also featured two ofthe recently announcedGenshin ImpactFontaine characters, Lyney and Lynette. The artist decided that Chatodini can have two forms, Assistant and Spectacle, probably because Lyney and Lynette are known as brother and sister.
Both forms of Chatodini can evolve from a smaller Pokemon named Trickit. The second most popular concept, according to multiple comments, is Manticrush which is inspired by the popular Sumeru character Dehya. Fans have pointed out that the design is so good that it could easily joinPokemon’s three legendary beasts.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
