Where to Find Mole Rats in Fallout 76
The ideal locations for farming Mole Rats areGreen Country Lodgeand theWelch Station. These spots guarantee up to six Mole Rat spawns. However, as a general rule, players should explore the southwestern parts of Appalachia for these creatures.
Given their skittish behavior, Mole Rats arecommonly found in mines. For instance, you can encounter a herd of Mole Rats inthe Lucky Hole MineandCarleton Mine. Other reliable spawn locations includethe Riverside Manor(near the Torrance House) andthe Hillfolk Hotdogs(south of Sunshine Meadows Industrial Farm).

What Are Mole Rats Used for?
Mole Rats can drop three items: meat, teeth, and skin. Each is used for crafting various materials and items, with Mole Rat Meat being the most valuable. When cooked, it can be used to make Burger Bites, Ground Mole Rat, Mountain Hocks, and Mole Rat Chunks, all offering buffs like Rads or HP boosts. Mole Rat Teeth can be turned into Bones, which are used in crafting various items, or used in weapon mods like the Toothed mod for the Shepherd’s Crook or the Extra Blade mod for the Mole Miner Gauntlet. Mole Rat Skin is primarily used to craft Leather, a key material in many recipes.
