With theToy Storyupdate now live inDisney Dreamlight Valley, players can bring characters like Woody and Buzz Lightyear to the village. But they can’t bring both characters at the same time, and must complete separate sets of realm quests to befriend both characters. Players can only start the quest to bring Woody to the village once they’ve completedA Secret Mission in Uncharted Space.
Fortunately there are no friendship level prerequisites to move on to this next realm quest, so players can start it right away. Here is how to complete ‘You’re My Favorite Deputy’ and bring Woody to the village.

Talk to Woody
The first thingDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers need to do during this quest is to return to theToy Storyrealm and speak with Woody. He wants to build the farm from Bonnie’s drawings, and he needs help getting all the parts for it. to build the farm, Woody needs eight Ice Pop Sticks and five Pipe Cleaners.
The Ice Pop Sticks and Pipe Cleaners are scattered all over the room. They are contained within small piles of trash, and they can only be picked up afterusing either the shovel or the pickaxeto free them.
Find Some Glue
OnceDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers have the Ice Pop Sticks and Pipe Cleaners, they will need to talk to Woody. The next stop of the project is to find some sort of glue to put all the pieces together. Woody also needs flowers for the farm as well. To complete this step, return to Dreamlight Valley and pick two Yellow Daisies from the Peaceful Meadow. The glue is obtained by talking to Buzz Lightyear.
Return to Woody
After getting the flowers and the glue,return to Woodyand give him all the items he asked for. He will tellDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers to go down to the floor where the farm will be built. After reaching the farm, talk to Woody again. This time, he needs help tracking down origami animals that will be part of the farm.
Find All the Origami Animals
At this point, it is likely thatDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers have already seen a few of the animals already while doing these two realm quests. In total there are two Elephants, one Turtle, one Penguin, and one Butterfly. The majority of the animals are very easy to find since they are often in the open. The only tricky one can be the Turtle since it is hidden behind the closet door. Once Disney Dreamlight Valley players have all the animals, they can return them to Woody and the quest will update.
Bring Woody to Dreamlight Valley
At this point, players will be able to befriend Woody and take him back to the village. Before that, however, they will need a spot to build his carousel. After putting up the sign, pay Scrooge McDuck 10,000 Star Coins and Woody will teleport into the village. If players need more Star Coins, there areseveral methods of getting morequickly. After talking to Woody one last time, the quest will complete.
