As fans ofMonster HunterRisecontinue to wait for the game’s release date, Capcom has recently decided to offer more insight andinformation aboutMonster Hunter Riseby posting gameplay footage on its official Japanese YouTube channel.

The footage isn’t necessarily a long gameplay video or a new trailer forMonster Hunter Rise. Instead, the footage consists of six short clips that last for a few seconds or up to a minute, and highlight something of interest about the game to the fans. Whether a clip shows the playable character playing with their Palamute or Palico companion, or demonstrates thecombat inMonster Hunter Rise, little teases like that essentially show what the full game will be like and what new gameplay mechanics players can expect from it.

Considering the idea thatMonster Hunter Risewill have some inspirations fromMonster Hunter World, while introducing wholenew concepts like the Wire Bug, that in return allows longtime fans to become more familiar with the game while learning and attempting to master new techniques for hunts. Even ifMonster Hunter Risewill be the firstMonster Huntergame for some players, this will be a whole new experience for them, with the short videos essentially introducing them to the game, as well as the series in general.

Earlier in November, the officialMonster HunterTwitter account uploaded a minute-long video highlightingcharacter customization inMonster Hunter Rise. That allowed fans to get an idea of what their customization options will be when they plan on customizing their playable character, Palico, and Palamute companions. Although the exact same video was published on the YouTube channel, it can either be seen as a reminder or as new information to those who didn’t catch the Twitter video.

Monster Hunter Riseis still a number of months away, which potentially means that Capcom will share a lot more exciting information and trailers about the game. Whether the information will consist of new locations, monsters, equipment, or anything else, fans should still keep their eyes on the game and its social media accounts for announcements. One thing that is worth noting is that even thoughMonster Hunter Rise’s release was impacted by COVID-19, hopefully no other issues or problems will result in any delays, be they long term or short term.
