Black Flagwas the fourth in theAssassin’s Creedseries, released in 2013. It featured all of the amazing parkour players expect fromAssassin’s Creedgames and added amazing piracy as well.Rogueserved as the prologue to the third game in the series, and was released in 2014. While both games were re-released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, neither has been available for the Switch. Considering how popular theAssassin’s Creedgames have been, even going so far as tospawn anAssassin’s Creedmanga series in China, it seemed a little strange that these titles hadn’t been released for the newest generation of Nintendo consoles.

TheAssassin’s Creed:The Rebel Collectionwill release date on December 6th, 2019 for $39.99, but there will also be a physical version as well. There will be a few additional features added to these two games for the new system, like Handheld Mode, HD Rumble, Touch Screen Interface, and Motion Control Aiming. It will be a great distraction while fans wait for theupcomingAssassin’s Creed Goldaudio booksthat were recently spoiled.
This is great news for fans of the genre, and even those who have never played before. There is a good reason whyBlack Flagis considered one of the best video gamesof the decade; it certainly has the highest average rating of anyAssassin’s Creedtitle. Also,Rogueis a fun game that really fills in the story betweenBlack FlagandIII. There’s a lot to love with both of these games, and the price makes it accessible to most. It will make a great stocking stuffer for Switch lovers everywhere.
