Some of these mysteriesinvolve familiar families, such as the Goth family and the Broke family. By reading the bios of certain families, players are able to discover the various mysteries. While players might not figure out the truth, it adds a fun element to the game.
10Where Is The Kingdom Located?
InThe Sims Medieval,players are able to play in a medieval setting. Players can take control of merchants, priests, wizards, and the royalty of a kingdom. One interesting thing to think about is how does this kingdom fit intoThe Sims’setting?
Potential ancestors of the Landgraab family appear in the game, in the form of Lord Demetrius Landegraab and his son, Duncan. While it isn’t mentioned much in the series, the appearance of these two shows thatThe Sims Medievalmost likely takes place in the same timeline.
9Is Nervous Subject The Grim Reaper’s Son?
Olivia Specter has a son named Nervous Subject who does not have a father in the family tree. It is interesting to note that if the player checks Olivia’s memories, it says she did WooHoo with the Grim Reaper. Soon after, Olivia also has a memory of giving birth to Nervous Subject.
The only thing is, the memories happen after Olivia became an elder. This is not normally possible inThe Sims 2, potentially strengthening the theory and showing supernatural powers were involved.
8Who Was Lolita Goth?
Lolita Goth appears in the graveyard of the Goth house inThe Sims 3.The only thing is, she does not appear on the family tree in any of the games. It is also interesting to note Lolita died from electrocution, despite there never being electronics in any of the Goth houses.

Perhaps her electrocution is why the Goths do not have any electronics in their home. It could also be possible that Lolita is just a distance relative to the Goths, being buried in a family home.
7The Entire Tricou Family
The Tricou family was added toThe Sims 2in theNightlifeexpansion pack. The weird part about them is their history in the game. The entire family is dead, buried in a cemetery located in the Downtown area. Two teenagers are also buried at the family home.
That being said, about six teenagers were added as downtown townies. If they are married into a family, it will reveal they are descended from the Tricou family patriarch only. The house the Tricou family lived in is also mysterious, having coffins in a somewhat flooded basement.
6Skip Broke’s Death
Skip Broke died beforeThe Sims 2began, dying in a pool accident. It is mentioned in the Broke family’s bio that Skip died in a suspicious pool ladder accident, with players being able to see the pool he died in. It is also interesting to note, Skip’s widow is pregnant with his child.
This would mean he died pretty recently. The family is pretty poor and Brandi would have to raise three kids on her own, so it is unlikely she had something to do with his death.
5Chupacabra
With the inclusion of the ‘Day of the Dead’ challenge inThe Sims 4,players are able to get a story if they collect all of the skulls. Collecting all of the skulls and reading the descriptions will reveal there is a mysterious creature in Oasis Springs.

The story goes some people went into the desert to find the beast, with only one person returning. The survivor returned and only said El Chupacabra. If this story is to be believed, there might be a Chupacabra around Oasis Springs.
4Bella Getting Abducted
It is probably well known thatBella Gothwas abducted by aliens and that is why she doesn’t appear with her family. While Bella does appearin Strangetown, it could be easily assumed this is not really her. Bella’s grave can be found inThe Sims 3in the Lunar Lakes world.
Asmentioned by SimGuruSarahon Twitter, Bella traveled to Lunar Lakes. It could easily be assumed she just went there and came back, but she would not be buried there. Hopefully, the mystery of Bella is solved at some point.
3Where Does The Landgraab Fortune Come From?
The Landgraab family has always been the richest one in the series, but it is unclear how they got their money. It is mentioned in a chance card inThe Sims 2that a man named Gregory Landgraab received a mysterious sum of money at the turn of the century. However, it is also mentioned the family has been rich since Admiral Landgraab.

Maybe the Landgraab family is just lucky and different branches are becoming rich, or maybe the Landgraab family is getting their money through evil means.
2Don’s Appearance In Riverview
Don Lothario appears in Riverview inThe Sims 3, which takes place before the events ofThe Sims 2.In fact, players can find a younger Skip Broke, further proving it takes place in the past. It is mentioned in his bio that he was facing the choice between marriage and being a man about town, referencing his engagement to Cassandra Goth.
It is also mentioned he remembers hearing women laughing as he was teleported. Maybe Don was teleported when someone found out he is involved with most of Pleasantview.
1Is Olivia Specter A Murderer?
Olivia Specter lives in Strangetown and has the house full of gravestones. The thing is, these graves are mostly her husbands. A few graves in the cemetery are also maids, delivery people, and another Strangetown resident’s wife.
Olivia does have a memory of WooHooing with the Grim Reaper, so she might kill people in an attempt to see him. Or maybe it is the other way around, and the Grim Reaper killed the Sims early to see Olivia.
